Nature Portal

A place that I last visited two years ago. As the weather forecast promised a cold and sunny morning I went to visit this place again. The small lake is a wellspring and the water doesn't freeze in winter. I actually didn't plan to capture this shot but when I arrived I saw a little branch in the foreground and the conditions were amazing. I also knew that the sun will align in the middle of the trees and I just had to wait. After some time I got it right composition wise and took the shot. Sometimes no plan is needed, you just have to go and enjoy what nature has to offer.
