Lightning Strike

Hohenzollern, Germany.
I couldn't have asked for better conditions when I visited this castle on the last day of a 14-day road trip last summer. There were literally lightning bolts striking every second, so even though this image might seem to be pure luck, it was just a matter of time until a lightning bolt would strike right behind the castle.
