Experimenting with Macro.
Used this old candle as it surrounds and reflects the flame.
I love the detail of Macro. The detail of the melted candle draws the viewers in to explore the image.
Unlike most of my images, I chose a plain black background to enhance the singularity of the flame as is own lights source.
My Nikon was on a tripod.

Brilliant example of extermination in the macro realm! Wonderful balance between flame and candle, neither struggle for prominence, instead work harmoniously as a single image. Nicely done.
