2023. Inspired by Massenet's Opera Thaïs, it tells the tragic story of an Egyptian acolyte to Hathor who is lusted after by a Christian monk who attempts to convert her to Christianity. Shot in the ancient tunnel beneath Castel Gandolfo, constructed by the Romans to drain Lake Albano.
