Icelandic Shepherd at Seljalandsfoss

24mm · f/2 · 1/250 · ISO 250

Iceland will always be so special to me. I had the pleasure of photographing dogs in jaw dropping locations. This (Seljalandsfoss) was one of them. Got there a little bit before the sun was setting so I would have enough time to look for some cool compositions and this was the result!

I got very lucky with beautiful light conditions. I made the lighting a little bit more dramatic in Adobe Photoshop to get even more focus on the dog. Landscape photos a quite new for me, so I am still learning and mostly I am having a lot of fun with it.

Superb! I like a lot that you included a dog, it's far more original than the usual selfie! Everything is perfect in this picture: light, exposure, composition, editing. Congrats

I've seen this picture a thousand times, but this is the first one to include a dog in the image. Amazing capture.

Thank you so much for this nice comment. It means a lot to me.

the dog makes a really nice addition to the scene. I must admit I feel the editing (or just the light?) around the dog looks a little off but unique take nonetheless.

Thank you! The "light" behind the dog isn't light. It's water particles comming from the waterfall.
