This photo depicts Yosemite Falls (I think...?) from atop Sentinel Dome in Yosemite. Ansel Adams was a big inspiration for this, with high contrast between the shadows and highlights, with a natural frame made from the shadow from the mountain next to it.
It absolutely is Yosemite Falls...well, most of it. (Smiles)
Yosemite Falls is actually three parts: Upper Yosemite Falls, Middle Cascades and Lower Yosemite Falls. (Info sourced nps.gov and Wikipedia)
