La Sal Del Rey

In south Texas, there is a salt flat similar to the salt lake in Utah. La Sal Del Rey, or "the King's salt", is a unique environment to photograph because of the extreme glare from the salt crystals. This barren tree was standing in defiance to the austere conditions. This photograph was shot on a Nikon Z6ii with an 85mm prime lens with an exposure of 1/250 sec at f / 2.2, ISO 100.
