From my new series of portraits, "Essence". Always the same features: a wide-angle portrait using one light and a softbox. The goal is to capture the essence of each subject. In this case, the subject's defining characteristics are his soft look and melancholy. The color rendering was edited in DXO Photolab 8. Captured with the Fujifilm GFX100S II, Fujinon GF32-64mm R LM WR, Profoto A10 Flash @ 32mm, ISO 125, f/16, 1/125 sec.
