First Supermoon of 2025

Monday (06/10/25) nights Super Full Moon (99.8% full) over Blackheath London at 19:47, taken handheld. At this time the moon was 362,826 km away. Tomorrow night (Tuesday) at about midnight it will be even closer at about 360,561 km and almost at its perigee, or closest approach to the Earth. When a full Moon occurs at perigee it's called a supermoon and appears 14% larger and 30% brighter than a normal full Moon.
