Roy Woods at Magnetic World

This shot of Roy Woods came from an unexpected opportunity. When Halifax hosted its biggest music festival to date, Magnetic World, I threw my name in the hat for a media pass just to see if I could get in. To my surprise, I was able to get a pass but I was given pit access for one artist only—Roy Woods. It was a short window of time, but enough to push myself in a high-pressure environment and capture moments like this.
