Diamond Beach - Breiðamerkursandur in Icelandic is a black volcanic sand beach. It is located at the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon on the south coast of Iceland. It is mainly known because hundreds of ice floes flow from the glacial lagoon into the ocean and the sea then returns them to the beach in the form of sparkling ice crystals.Photos from the Winter Iceland 2024 photo expedition series.
