The Canyon

The first time I saw this place was in a photograph by the legendary Marc Adamus. That image looked like something from another world: a labyrinth of rock sculpted over millions of years, where every curve, every crack, and every shadow tells the story of time.

In 2023, I was lucky enough to visit for the first time and photograph it at sunset. I left satisfied with that image, but the landscape left a lasting impression on me, so in 2024 I returned, but this time at dawn, when the first light begins to caress the walls of the canyon and the air still holds the cold of the night.

I captured an almost 360° panorama, where the river winds through the canyons.
There, suspended above that stone abyss, I felt the same thing that made me fall in love with landscape photography: pure awe at the power of nature. 🌄

Sometimes a photo is not just an image. It is a story, a quest, a promise fulfilled. And this one, without a doubt, was. ❤️
