The Tail End of a Storm in the Local Woods - Monochrome

The woods near me are quite small but relatively wild. This scene caught my eye. It took me a while to arrange things, and wait for a bit of hazy light. It was very windy still after a storm the night before, I actually got hit on the arm with a stick which fortunately missed my camera, and acorns were walling making the sound of rain, it was incredible.

There was no chance of freezing the movement of the trees at any kind of useful ISO and aperture, so I let it be with a 4 second exposure at f11, iso 100, helped with a graduated filter and polariser.

This is a monochrome conversion of a colour image. Im undecided which I prefer.
