This was my third visit to try to make sense of this amazing clearing. It's a very complex scene with a lot of elements to fit which is challenging. I like the colours, but I find them hard to balance and arrange, I also made a monochrome conversion of this which simplifies it a bit, and has made me thing I might start making more monochrome versions, though shooting in colour is important.
This was a 15 second windy exposure at f11, iso 100, on a Sony A7r iiia, Sigma 35mm 1.4 DG DN, with a graduated filter, 6-stop ND and polariser.
