inside the Bara Imambara complex in Lucknow.
"Shahi Baoli is a five-storey stepwell – a deep water reservoir surrounded by arcaded galleries and rooms. Only three levels are visible today; the lower ones are now below the water/ground level.
The present structure dates to the late 18th century, around 1784–1794, during the reign of Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh who also built the Bara Imambar."
