Cold winter morning Venice, Fishing Pier

What a cold morning, the windchill was around 30 and the reg temp 39 which is very rare for this area to be so cold. The waves were about 5 to 6 feet and the sand, the sand had wind ripples! I have never seen that here before, usually the wind just smooths out the sand and creates some windrows or berms behind something. Love the patterns, such an ominous start to the day but the clouds started to break up and let the sun shine through. Love early mornings on the beach, no one around, which is something else super rare here.
Used about a 14 second shutter speed to smooth out the waves and give the clouds some motion.
