One of my "Mad Light Science" projects. I like to experiment with different lighting setups, especially for my macro work. For this shot I placed a snooted flash with a red gel camera left. The balls are actually solid grey marbles sitting on a plate of clear glass. I set up a second flash to fire against the wall behind the marbles to produce the back lighting. Post work was minimal consisting mainly of tone and contrast adjustments in Lightroom.
