Nailshead

I found the idea for this photoshoot after seeing makeup artist using nails for creating original false lashes. I thought it would be great to add a male in my portfolio and both ideas came together: a beard using only nails!
To make the image even more impactful, I decided to make my model dark using a black aquacolor paint. To make the look come together I also brushed the brows with silver metallic powder… Then came the time to glue the nails… one after another! It took me about 6 hours to glue them and probably 30-45min to shoot the whole set of images.

This is insanely good. I can't imagine how tedious it was to glue all those nails!

All your work is spectacular really!

This is my favourite!
Here is something from my Major Project

Great image Quentin! i really like the low key!

That is the second name I had in mind for this project… but I though I would have sounded slightly too cocky by calling it that way :P

Haha, it would have been punny, punny is always good! "Hammertime: Can't touch this" would also.... ok ok nvm :P Anyway, cool concept great execution, love the lighting!
