Agreed, I don't think I have seen too many beauty shots with such a shallow DOF when the makeup is this edgy.

Oh, it's very usual light setup two rim lights - strip boxes, octa 70cm above model, and little softbox on the floor for sparkle in eyes

Amazing shot, now a follower. I love your use of DOF combined with the side lighting. What kind of strobes/transmitters do you use to get shallow DOF? Or do you use a ND filter?

I used mostly LED light lamps through lamp holder connected to softboxes, LED light like this https://amzn.com/B012HYZ77W or this goo.gl/b6hdfN

Then I need different color light, I'm using flashlight with color gel, result like here https://fstoppers.com/photo/145187
In nearest future going to change light on something like this https://amzn.com/B01EA25GDY (I shoot video often)

This is wonderfully powerful. I would be interested to find out how you arranged the lighting. Side lighting on both sides I can see, did you use a reflector on the front of the face?

Simple and powerful.
