Heart Transplant Survivor

A young heart transplant patient shows his healed scars. This was part of a series done about heart transplant survivors and I wanted to show each survivor's individuality. Transplant is such a miracle but we become so used to the concept that we forget that each successful transplant gives the recipient a new chance at life.
