Cuillin Mountains from Elgol

Elgol is a small village in the south of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. It lies on the sea loch of Loch Scavaig and offers beautiful views of the Cuillin mountains, which are divided into the Black Cuillin and Red Cuillin.
Elgol can be reached by car from the town of Broadford, a journey of about an hour along a narrow road. There is free parking in the village, from where you need to continue on foot along the rocky coast. The spot where the photo was taken is nearby, but access requires caution, especially when the rocks are wet.
Loch Scavaig opens onto the Atlantic Ocean and serves as a starting point for boat trips to Loch Coruisk, a stunning freshwater loch at the foot of the Black Cuillin mountains. I must visit this loch next time.
