I captured this scene during a misty autumn morning when the light was filtering through the canopy in a truly magical way. My main goal was to use the fallen log in the foreground as a leading line to draw the viewer deeper into the foggy woodland. The contrast between the warm autumn leaves and the soft, ethereal atmosphere of the fog created the exact moody feeling I was looking for.
