I thought I would kick off my uploads with a photograph taken on my DaYi panoramic camera. It is currently set to shoot 6x12 format as the enlargers won't take anything bigger, although I may start scanning and printing digitally instead!
This was shot on Formapan 100 and was a photograph I didn't think was going to come out at all as I left most my kit in the car and decided to hand hold (which is a challenge with a beast of a panoramic camera), zone focus and guesstimate the composition (I also left the ground glass and accessory finder back in the car... and the light meter).
Whilst not perfect I thought this captured the atmosphere of the old abandoned crofts that dot the Highlands, and whilst not part of the core "clearances" this exemplifies some of the latter depopulation of the region through migration and the loss of large parts of the population through the wars of the 20th century.
