BELL TOWER AND PALM OUTSIDE AGAVE RANCH, JALISCO MEXICO

From my original photograph visiting near Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, I created this digital painted version of bold colors and watercolor style. The small adobe church was located near a tiny village above the coastline where Boca de Tomatlan fishing village attracts visitors to "the real Mexico"; very authentic and peaceful. Residents who predominantly fish for their living and live in 1 and 2 room huts or tiny modest homes that are often part of a large acreage of land, owned by an individual that provides for them in exchange for goods or services. The sea meets the mountains in this rain forest tropic area and is traditional, slow paced and non tourist oriented.
My mixed art and photography approach began 2009 when I coined the term "Artography" for a digital art blend of graphic art, photoart, and/or pigment techniques applied to my original photography.
