Mumdjidam

This is a very small village, high and deep in the Rhodopes Mountains of Bulgaria. All the houses are built from stones and tickli (native Bulgarian word for the specific stones put on the roof) Mumdjidam has no permanent residents. Only 3 elderly persons who come back to this place every spring summer and autumn, to feed their animals. Closest village with permanent residents is 2 hours far away by walk only. And there is only 1 permanent resident in that village.
Yes. To get to Mumdjidam is only by walk.
