Repeating Themes

Creating my own Iconic shots from remote areas in isolated places keeps me going. Either by four wheeling it or backpacking in. Patients was required for this one. Hang out until the weather is dynamic, then translate what I see to an image. I've never seen this shot before. It's more personal. I've been using my EOS 5D Mark IV since 2016 before that it was a film camera. Also use and XT5 (curious about the X-Trans filter), very interesting. I like it. I don't have the need or the money to spend (15,000+ $$$) to invest in a whole new camera setup. I like what have. The 5D IV is a work horse. It's a great camera. It's been everywhere. Ice storms to rugged seas and everyplace in between. Suites me just fine. This image was taken in a remote area between Escalante and Boulder Mountain in Utah.
