One Park, One Day, Five Different Looks

In the summer of 2019, I traveled to London for my annual vacation, a ritual I look forward to each year. The city’s lively energy, vibrant atmosphere, iconic streets, inviting shops, fashion, restaurants, and hotels never fail to inspire me. Whenever I need a change of pace, London is my go-to destination for a fresh perspective. I particularly enjoy photography walks, whether joining talented groups or exploring solo.

Each year, I wander through Hyde Park in search of new photographic inspiration, but 2019 marked a turning point in my creative journey. Armed with my Nikon D850 and Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR lens, I spent a cloudy afternoon—occasionally illuminated by rays of sunlight—capturing the park’s unique atmosphere. After three hours and countless shots, I narrowed my selection to five images, ready to experiment with unique edits in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

There are endless possibilities for crafting visual moods. I began by experimenting with timeless black and white, then explored the vibrant Summer Look, the nostalgic Great Gatsby Look—inspired by the film’s memorable color palette starring Leonardo DiCaprio —the warm tones of Autumn, and finally, the mysterious Spooky Look.
