Shot 25 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska during a dedicated aurora photography tour with Aurora Bear (Frank Stelges and Miriam). Capturing the aurora took real planning — clear skies, solar activity, and a good composition all had to line up — but the northern lights finally put on a show over the boreal forest.
