Bear family taking a break from feeding on Salmon. This mother was very efficient at catching Salmon. She rarely missed. A good thing as she had at lot of cubs to fatten up before winter.

Thank you for this photograph of the mother and her babies, because it made me realize I just haven't seen this type of bear before. Particularly on the babies and the one on the far left, they have such long snouts. The mother and the babies are just not the sort of bear I'm used to seeing, so I think I've never seen them before.
