I was completely captivated by this giant lotus leaf resting in a blanket of duckweed. The way it rises up in the center almost looks like a tiny green and brown mountain island in the middle of a vibrant, mossy sea. It’s amazing how much complex beauty exists in a quiet wetland ecosystem if you just stop to appreciate the view.
