It looks a lot like California but in fact it was shot in Nagano prefecture Japan.
Famous power spot the Togakushi shrine's entrance with the long walk in the middle of those tall trees is a great experience. Better visit on a weekday though as like anywhere else in Japan it gets crowded on weekends.
