Descending from Angels' Landing in Zion Nat'l Park, I came across this imposing monolith across the valley. When I turned a corner on the switchback and saw this, I stopped in my tracks. It was one of those times when the subject picks you, rather than the other way around, and holds your attention. It was a moment I didn't want to forget.
