I was out driving one of my favourite local roads keeping an eye out for wildlife when suddenly something beautifully unexpected caught my eye. A single golden Larch tree across the valley. Still holding onto its colours, it stood out perfectly amid the sea of green. I had to stand on the roof of my SUV to get above the tree line to get a clear shot. I love the simplicity of it all.
