On the island of Kizhi in Lake Onega - located in the Republic of Karelia in northern Russia - the amazing 22-dome Transfiguration Church is found.
However, it was under restoration, so I had to settle for the nine dome top.
Since 1990 the area has been a UNESCO World Heritage site.
