QUESTION: There are designs on the wall behind the subject. The gold designs are medium in tone on the left half of this image, while on the right half of the image, the light reflects off of them in a way that renders them quite a bit brighter. Was this intentional? I mean, did you intentionally light this scene in a way that would cause those gold designs to be brightly reflective? Or was the lighting done purely with regard for how it would illuminate your subject, with the effect that it had on your background wall being mostly incidental?
NOTE: I see that after I rate one of your photos, it shows me how it was rated by others. The collective ratings for your images here seem to be inexplicably low. It is as if the people viewing and rating your images are not really seeing them, not paying attention the the details and compositional nuances that make them so special.
