Misty morning at Emerald lake

There are a lot of locations that look good in real life but are challenging to shoot... and there are locations (fewer) that look good only on camera.

But Emerald lake is NONE of those. It is so rare to find locations that are stunning in real life and offer so many photo opportunities. This photo was taken on a foggy morning and I really like the way the island separates itself from the background, thanks to the mist.
