Marblehead Lighthouse is Ohio's most famous lighthouse. It has protected ships passing the Eastern end of Marblehead Peninsula since it was opened in 1820. Today it is preserved as an Ohio state park, and still guides recreational boaters and commercial vessels through the waters of Sandusky Bay.
