I see these Betta close-ups more as abstract landscapes than actual representations of the fish, themselves.

Crowntails are my favorite Bettas, your closeup abstract really lets the viewer see the details we miss as they swim around! Thanks for sharing your work.

Thanks, Ron. This is actually a Half-moon Betta, but the small potion of the dorsal that I focused on does have some Crowntail spikes. I did, however, just post an actual Crowntail image called "Tiny Dragon".
