You don't even have to fully enter the Vatican Museum to find an incredible image. Of my group, I was the sole person who decided to walk up those sweeping ramps (instead of taking the escalator) - walking was the right choice. I was offered an unobstructed view of the staircase from the top which, when combined with the lighting, created this wonderful blend of tones and lines
