Dramatically lit portrait

I took this picture of a friend whilst trying out some different lighting possibilities in a studio set up.
For this show I removed the diffuser on the light to increase the contrast and dramatic effect of the lighting.
I quite like the outcome and I feel like the colours and light gave a quite cinematic feel to the picture.
