Canada Bereft

Vimy is an important place for Canadians. It's perhaps where our young nation was born on the world stage; at quite the cost.
I've been to Vimy 4 times and was looking for something a bit different. Found myself laying under the large wall that surrounds the monument looking up at a bright blue sky. Didn't fit the sombre mood, so went with BW and a strong red filter.
