Backlighting during a wedding is particularly fun when there is snow in the background. I placed an Alien Bee Strobe at half power about 70 feet behind the bride and groom, and positioned myself about 20 feet in front of the couple. The trick I found was to keep the modeling light on in between shots so you can see how much light you want to leak through between the couple.
