Desert Nights

I guess the desert is one of the best places to see and photograph the stars. Last month when I visited the Sahara I was able to snap this shot of the Milky Way over the dunes of the Erg Chigaga.

I used some Image Averaging of 40 photos to remove all noise from the sky and some focus stacking for the foreground, which was photographed an hour after photographing the stars.
