Rob, that's how things go sometimes, images as you have here, cannot be scouted, planned, pre-composed while waiting for the light. They happen while an attuned photographer recognizes special qualities in the light and scene and often with seconds is able to interpret both light and successfully composition and exposure a frame or two!
