Sun Over Sodus

Had a great time planning and making this photograph happen. It was wet, windy, and early.
This location lines up with the sun for only one day a year. I found this formation into Lake Ontario while scouting potential spots last year. I had forgotten about it until a week ago when I was looking for a good sunrise shot near Rochester, NY. Being on the south side of a very large lake makes things difficult to get a good nautical sunrise thankfully, the weather was kind and I was able to see the sun peak into the clouds this morning.
