Valley of the Kings

2006 and a visit to Egypt led to the chance of a balloon trip over the Valley of the Kings. I'm not a morning person, and if I'd known that it meant getting up before 5am, I'm pretty sure I would have opted to do something else that day - but I'm so glad I made it up for one of the few sunrise shots you'll ever see in my portfolio. Taken on Velvia 50 with my medium format Mamiya 6.
