Winter Solitude

25mm · f/5.6 · 1/125s · ISO 100

Another one from the archives from last winter, I just remember Walking around aimlessly in awe of the beauty of winter and it's the effect on the Landscape, especially in woodland. Cleaning the old bracken covered ground with a blanket of fresh white snow makes it much easier to compose an image because of the simplicity winter gives. In this capture, I just love the way the beech tree leans over framing the more ordered trees in the distance.

Josh, love it!, from composition, exposure, to post processing. And this just goes to prove those who wander are no always lost! Great job!
