I love it when nature surprises me and makes me think on my feet. This trip to White River Sno-Park resulted in an invisible Mt. Hood but the sky put on a show nonetheless. Seeing the color coming in early on, I set up looking east to catch the color the moment it peaked but had to leave behind the iconic mountain.
