Sharjah Mosque.

This is Sharjah Mosque during the festival of light. It was taken on a 24 mm tilt shift and is a vertical stack to get the minarets in the frame along with the ground reflection. I am catholic and have always appreciated the beauty in christian architecture (particularly in mainland Europe) but since moving to Dubai I have found a love for Islamic architecture and how they incorporate their art and calligraphy into the building itself. Sharjah is the Emirate (state) next to Dubai.
