Eeriness

A detail of the remains of forest fires from Yosemite National Park, taken really early morning, through super-heavy mist. The entire landscape there was very desolate, but it also had a special sort of beauty and simplicity.
While driving up, upon seeing the conditions, we had to stop (although this wasn't really our main photography subject idea) but during the moments spent there i think we all were simply speechless - both contemplating the effects of the forest fires but equally enjoying the total silence and eeriness of the place.
